Ready to Go - My Actifit Report Card: March 18 2025
Today was my last training day for the race and it was a good one. It was an interval session that had me go for sprints for 3 minutes over 5 intervals with brief rests in between. The issue was that I was too tired to get up and head to the gym early for a treadmill. Therefore, I found myself again outside for the training. It was pretty chilly outside which I was not expecting. This caused my warm up to be critical. Once I warmed up, it was a great session.
Interestingly, my watch has called it my fastest 5K time and that is without me really gauging it. However, I know I had a faster race before I every had a tracker which is still the record I am targeting this week. It was great that my body felt great after the workout as I headed straight to meetings from another busy day. I feel that I am ready to go as long as I am able to balance the work side of things and my mind.
