Longer Intervals - My Actifit Report Card: March 6 2025
Despite having a busy and active night yesterday, I woke up feeling pretty good from a legs perspective which surprised me. I initially thought that I would have to wait until the evening as my plan today was another cardio session. However, I decided to go to the gym before the work day started as I have some chores to get done tonight at home before a busy weekend ahead.
I stepped on the treadmill with a bit of hesitation so extended my warm up a bit longer than usual. It was my first interval session where the speed intervals would be longer than the recoveries. I also pushed the pace to speeds above what I have tried before for extended periods. It was encouraging to get through the first speed intervals which would also be the longest. It set the tone on feeling I could get through it which I did without feeling too weary. I think the foundation is expanding so great to feel.
