Deloading - My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2025
Today was another different day for me as I was due on some strength training but given the recent close of my program, I decided to have a deload week. I have read that it is good to allow some rest after programs but want to ensure I remain active with weights. I did some free weight training early this morning at the gym to get a head start to the day which was busy from an agenda perspective. I was done early enough to treat myself to some time in the Spa.
It was on to my work day from there which was busy as expected. I had 2 good meals somewhat early as I was invited to play pickleball. It is very popular in the area but I have yet to play a formal game yet despite dabbling a bit with my family. It was a similar workout to tennis so good intervals. I tried to take it easy but the competitive side of me gets intense. It was a good sweat and way to ease my way past my daily goal today.
