An Additional Notch Higher - My Actifit Report Card: February 12 2025

Today I decided to get up early to head to the gym for some time with my weight training. The last three weeks of this program has increased the sessions of total body training to three times so I thought I could get my second in today. My body still feels recovered from the Monday workout despite still battling a cough but thought it was worth the effort as this evening and tomorrow would be challenging. I am also looking for some rest and recovery for the weekend as I have some family activities and chores to attend to.

I was happy to not have much interruption at the machines today as the workout routine is much longer than I have been used to. The only item that surprised me was my inability to get 5 sets in of some inclined situps and my body was already exhausted. Since I am supplementing my core training separately on cardio days, I thought I would not lose out too much. I did get some recovery in at the Spa as well although I did not do the cold plunge given some time constraints. I did also get some activity in the afternoon as I headed downtown to a work event. I was definitely happy to see my bed by the time I got back!
