Long Return - My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2025
I wanted to get a long run in during my time off but the schedule was always challenging with all the events the family had at hand so I never got to it. I decided to return to a long run this morning as the weather was great for a good push. I connected 2 routes I would take and it worked out pretty well except that I did not reach the full hour; however, I did get over 5 miles again which was great. I tried to stay in Zone 2 but it was a challenge during the last 2 miles.
After a shower, I started my work day but I also had in sight today to get some core training and trigger sessions as tomorrow will be a challenge again. Travel will make both workouts and diet rough to align and adjust after last week. There will be some sacrifices and stretches I need to make to stay in line with my routines. My focus is to at least get one more day of strength training in for the week to keep up that piece of my overall plan.
