Squeezing It In - My Actifit Report Card: November 13 2024
Today was always going to be the busiest day at work given meetings on the schedule. I did not want to get up too early as I still wanted to hit my sleep target last night aftet missing it the previous night. Instead, I headed to the local gym on the way to work and squeezed in a workout. After a warmup stretch and walk, I got my second session of full body weight training in. I tried to go a but heavier which may not have been the best idea as my rest between reps would be short given my rush to get to my first meeting.
I still had time to end the workout with a couple of minutes on the stair machine. Stairs were the latest recommendation from the trainer so thought I could get started now. Great session and worked on pacing between meetings the rest of the day and at home to get to my daily goal. Adding an early night to catch up on sleep as well. Good momentum continues!

You are motivating me to get off my ass and get in a program. Sure my 10K steps look good every day, but it is simply walked to/from work and scurrying around my school building. None of my activity over the last few months has been targeted workouts.
