Got it Done - My Actifit Report Card: October 26 2024
I was a bit concerned this morning as I woke up with not much sleep to hit the gym for a cardio workout class. I went a little early to warm up on the treadmill to ensure that my ankles were good before hitting the higher intensity during the class. I started on the mats with some functional reps which got this going for me quickly. I was able to get through most of the first half pretty easily except for a mobility set which was a challenge given my lack of flexibility.
The second half was back on the treadmill and I was impressed that I could really hold on to the session of intervals despite the large swings of time, speed, and incline. The ankles did not complain much but I still took care of myself afterwards at the Spa with sessions in both the Steam and Sauna rooms. It was then on to a busy day with some work and time with the family that ended in more walking but no issues with my soreness which was great.
