My easy morning run gave me a time to notice the rising sun shining through a couple of tall trees, which looks like they were guarding the creek crossing.

It's funny what you notice when you're not in a rush, and I even had enough time to stop and get a couple of photos.

More house, yard chores, and the weekly grocery shop before the afternoon stroll.

A neighbour gave us some spinach cuttings that after a week sitting in water all started to grow roots. The next step is to see how they go in the ground. We are not the best at remembering to water.
