There was this baby goanna on our afternoon walk that made a pretty big tree look huge. The new smooth bark on the big tree made it hard work for this goanna to hang on, but its sharp claws did the job as I snuck around and got a few photos from different angles.

I had one eye out for it's mother because we were not far from the place we saw both a big and smaller goanna on the same tree last week.

Maybe this goanna is old enough to be on its own now.

Fitness wise, it was a morning run, more house and yard chores, the afternoon stroll, and some evening upper body weights.
