My Actifit Report Card: April 13 2023

We had a Tawny Frogmouth visit us. I had just finished my early morning walk before work, and I noticed an odd shadow on the roof. At first, I thought maybe a cat or possum.

I have seen a few over the years, but they are pretty hard to spot as they camouflage so well into trees.

They are natuve to Australia and look very much like owls but are not related.

He or she seemed pretty happy to let me take a few photos from different angles and did not fly away.

Busy day at work tiding a few things up, and it looks like I can have another long weekend as it has gotten a bit quiet again.

Got a leg weight training session done with my home setup.

These Frogmouths are an amazing bird. They are fairly used to people being around as long as there are no dogs, as the noise we make disturbs the critters they feed off. We saw a lot of these birds when living in the greater Brisbane area. Thanks for sharing, Brad.
