Watching Boxing Matches On YouTube Might Be Your Next Big Thing
Watering the Ground
We all have things we do for fun, like watching movies, listening to music, reading books, scrolling through social media, etc. And even though there seems to be a myriad of things we do for fun and entertainment, especially with our phones and gadgets, we still find ourselves bored a lot of times. Or we still find ourselves wanting more, wanting something new, different or something we just don't know we want yet.
It could be that you've watched all the interesting movies/shows that are out or you've listened to your playlists too many times or scrolled through social media over and over again and you're seeing the same posts over and over again and you're tired of it all and not just excited by em.
It seems I'm spending too many words trying to describe this thing we all relate to 🤦🏾♂️, but I'm just trying to say there is one more huge collection/catalogue/field you have most probably not even tempered with that holds endless entertainment for you! And what is this I'm talking about? Well, why am I acting like it's not already on the title of this post? Boxing matches on YouTube, ladies and gentlemen!
There's a reason I'm so confident you're most probably not already doing this and it's because of all the friends I have and all the people I've met in my life (and I've been to University for 5 years) I'm the only one who I know does this! Also I only started a bit in like 2018 and only got serious in 2021. Imagine that!
Diving In
On YouTube there are thousands of boxing matches - the full matches from beginning to end - everywhere. There are matches from the 1940s all the way to matches from this current year. Matches fought by great names like Joe Louis, Mohammed Ali, Sonny Liston, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather jr, etc! All the great names you've heard of and other numerous names you've never heard of who were unbelievable boxers regardless.
All these names and the full videos of all their toughest most interesting matches are all there on YouTube for you to watch, a floodgate of entertainment! Further good news is many of these matches are up to 1 full hour of fighting, that's like the length of a full movie, you can watch them like movies just the way I do and this could be the next big thing you use in killing time and getting thoroughly entertained.
Something About Prize Fighting
Most of us love action movies and here you are, real life action, two men battling for glory, status and money. Everything about it is real, these are everyday men who trained and worked out, something about any of us can do. There's gotta be a feel this knowledge gives you, a different feel from what you get from movies.
More knowledge that makes the experience better is knowing how important every match is to a fighter, a fighter usually gets paid based on how big a name he is, a big name brings crowds and more views which means more money, and you only become a big name by having a lovely fighting style, being a very good boxer and most especially having defeated tough opponents.
So a boxer doesn't want to lose any match. Winning and becoming a big name further makes you famous and popular, gives you multimillion dollar deals and makes you a legend for life like Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, George Foreman, Manny Pacquiao (who won a seat at the senate in his home country of the Philippines based on his popularity).
So you see how important every match is, while you're watching this knowledge does something to everything.
How to Go About It
I do it the most simple way possible, I simply search for the video on YouTube, find it and download it there on the YouTube app, that way I can get to it anytime I like and watch to my fill. Usually you don't want to know how a match ends before watching it, you need that suspense to make it more interesting, so it's sometimes a bad idea to google the match before downloading them. If you want to watch Mayweather matches for example just type 'Mayweather vs Full Fight'. The results would be various full fight Mayweather matches.
Sometimes I use Google, though, but I let a friend do it for me. On Wikipedia every famous fighter has a list of matches and because of the column that says exactly how the match ended like "Loss" "UD" which means that the fighter lost by a Unanimous Decision, because of columns like that you don't want to look at the list yourself, just give it to a friend and they'll read out all the names of the fighters involved like "Mayweather vs Cotto", etc. Then you'll go search "Mayweather vs Cotto Full Fight", download and enjoy 🌚.
How Do you Know What Matches to Watch?
It is simple, start with the great names like Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather jr, Oscar De La Hoya, Canelo Alvarez, Errol Spence, Gervonta Davis, etc. You've surely heard of a lot of other great names. Start with them. While watching their matches you would see the performances of their opponents and might fall in love with their opponents and want to watch other matches of their opponents.
You might not fall in love with their opponents but you might be very disappointed in their opponents and see that their opponents have a very good past record and you'll be like how the hell did this guy manage to have such a good past record with this kind of performance? That would make you go to watch his other matches.
Also commentaries are a great way to find out a lot of things, a commentator might say something about a previous match or previous opponents or past occurrences in the boxing world and that might interest you to go in search of the matches or boxers the commentator was talking about. Commentators are also very good at hyping fighters, a commentator might simply say that this fighter has a very great hand speed or is very great at defence or use one of the best in the world currently or the second best in the world currently or something of the sort and this will interest you to say this fighter is really highly regarded I've got to watch some of his matches.
Then again Ring Magazine elects a fight as Fight of the Year every year. A fight needs to have been very action packed and tough to make the cut. It has to have been the most action packed fight of the year. You can check out the list of all the fights chosen as fight of the year for the past decades on Wikipedia.
Huge Recommendation
I've also come to find that boxing is a kind of entertainment that makes use of only very little of our energy. Sometimes I might be too stressed out after daily chores/work to watch a movie, my memory/brain power might be down and energy levels at a huge low, at times like this I find out that boxing matches are great alternatives because I can follow what is happening in the matches without as much energy, understanding and focus as I would have needed to follow what is happening in a movie.
Conclusion
It's a lot of fun and I've come to love it as much as I love watching movies and that's really huge. Check it out, it might come to be something huge for you too as it is for me. Tata.

They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.
They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
