π Winners - - Congratulations! π PLUS, ARCHIVE AMNESTY FOR A CHANCE TO GO IN DRAW TO WIN! π³
This challenge didn't disappoint - we are constantly amazed at the detail and care that Steemfolk put into their entries! Who knew that alder had such amazing spiritual benefits, or that mullein had soft, furry leaves, or that there were so many types of ginseng? The awesome thing about these plant challenge is that we learn SO much either by reading the posts of others, or exploring and investigating ourselves. Please go give these entries some love! If I've missed you, please let me know in the comments and I'll update it as soon as I can.
We're going to take a couple of weeks break from Plant Medicines whilst we have some other groovy stuff going on in the kitchens of Natural Medicine crew, but don't worry, there's still plenty of chances to WIN STEEM AND SBI - CHECK OUT THE ARCHIVE AMNESTY, OUTLINED BELOW!!

Archive Amnesty - A Chance to Win
Contestants and Natural Medicine folk, we are currently running an 'Archive Amnesty', where we want YOU to put your best and original posts in the Archives. At the end of the month, we're going to have a draw to award one of you with 5 SBI and a 200 SP DELEGATION FROM @RIVERFLOWS FOR A MONTH! It really could NOT be any easier. Do you have a great post in your steemin' history that would fall under one of the following topic channels?
The archives are important to Natural Medicine as it means we can easily search the 'back catalogue' of Steemians posts for particular remedies or advice. Want to find something on mullein? Search 'mullein' in the archives and 'voila' - there it will appear under the 'herbal medicines' channel. Now if that's not an amazing service, I don't know what is! Each post = 1 entry, draw will be randomised and announced at the end of May. We have the right to remove 'shit posts' so please do be considerate of others. Oh, and congratulations @crosheille, whose post on sprouting garlic counts as the first entry into this competition!
Okay, and now for the winners -- first brew yourself a tea, then get reading!
Winners of 5 Steem Each
@artemislives
Always thoughtful, her post on ginseng in Thailand was informative and engaging. If we ever want to learn about Asian natural medicine plants, it's @artemislives we call upon for her infinite wisdoms.
@nateonsteemit
Nate's obsession with turkeytail mushrooms has gone on for some time now, and we'd like to reward his exploration into this incredibly beneficial 'plant' - hey, it's a mushroom, but we can call it a plant, can't we? Can't we?
@chireerocks
Very, very hard to decide between the mullein posts as @porters also did a stunning job. But a poem? Well, hey, we had to reward that.
@anggrekklestari
A relative newcomer to Nat Med, @anggrekklestari takes such care with her posts that we HAD to reward her again - her photos, her detail - wow. Between her and Artemis, we have SE Asian plant medicines covered! Looking forward to more posts by these wonderful Nat Medders!
Sadly we didn't get the 20 posts for @frejafri's mug, but never mind - the offer still stands and we're going to roll over the offer to the next challenge!
The next challenge starts NEXT SATURDAY -- If you've read this far, or if you're in the Discord, you have a head start on thinking about what you might write about! We may be offering something a little different next time, so watch this space!
@naturalmedicine votes @enginewitty and @quochuy as their witnesses - we love the support they give small communities!
Please get in touch if you'd like to donate to the next challenge. We are small, but are growing with the help and support of the wonderful people of Steem!
Wow... thank you @naturalmedicine!! π The archives? Damn... forgot all about those!! π€£ On it.
