La Selección de Portugal cumple y da un paso más para poder ser parte del Mundial en Qatar

Ha comenzado está primera parte del repechaje de las selecciones que pertenecen a UEFA y en dónde todavía se debe resolver tres cupos faltantes para el próximo mundial a realizarse en Qatar a final de este año; en esta jornada seis juegos deberían disputarse, doce selecciones se enfrentarían para ser parte de alguna de esas tres finales y poder obtener alguno de esos tres últimos puestos que completan la representación europea en el mundial de fútbol organizada por FIFA. Recordemos que de estos seis juegos solo se disputaron cuatro, dejando uno eliminado, el cual deberían enfrentarse Polonia vs. Rusia y en dónde al estar expulsada la selección rusa de estas eliminatorias, Polonia pasaría de forma directa a una de las finales; el otro juego que no se llevaría a cabo fue el de Ucrania vs. Escocia, este juego está suspendido y se espera a que en el mes de junio se dispute y saber que selección disputará una de las finales, aparte de esto los demás encuentros sucederían de forma normal, todos llenos de emociones y momentos inolvidables.

De los cuatro juegos que se disputaron en esta primera jornada para definir a las selecciones que faltan para completar la representación por parte de la UEFA, decidí ver el enfrentamiento entre las selecciones de Portugal y Turquía porque en mi opinión era el juego más atractivo de todos los demás que se disputaron, esto lo digo porque existe importantes factores como es las estrellas que conforman la selección portuguesa en especial la de su capitán e ídolo, Cristiano Ronaldo; ahora por parte de Turquía que a pesar de que su nivel no es el mejor, en esta selección veremos jugadores que son importantes en diferentes clubes tanto en Italia como en España y es por eso que pudiera existir una resistencia y así poder tener un juego emocionante por ganarse un puesto en una importante final. El juego se llevaría a cabo en el estadio Dragão del Porto, un campo muy importante por la cercanía de los aficionados al campo que apoyarían a su afición de forma condicional, esperando que con su apoyo pudiera empujar a sus jugadores a conseguir una victoria.

Por parte de la selección dirigida por Fernando Santos, el plan era anotar la mayor cantidad de goles de forma rápida, pienso que este DT pensó en la regla que dice que la mejor defensa es el ataque y por eso uso un esquema netamente ofensivo como fue 4-1-3-2, teniendo a Moutinho como único jugador delante de la línea defensiva y hasta 5 jugadores ofensivos para atacar a la portería rival, sin ninguna duda que Santos ideo un plan en dónde uso a quienes él pensó que crearán un gran número de oportunidades para conseguir las anotaciones y así estar más cerca de ir al mundial.

Por parte del seleccionado de Turquía, para ser sincero pienso que los jugadores no tuvieron el nivel ni la actitud para enfrentar este juego; pienso que su esquema debió funcionar por encima del pensado por su rival, esto lo digo porque jugar con un solo jugador en el medio campo que conectará tanto a la defensa como los mediocampistas ofensivos no era lo más equilibrado y a pesar de ir ya abajo en el marcador por dos goles de diferencia, pienso que existía tiempo suficiente para revertir está situación y no solo en lo que faltaba tanto del primer tiempo como los últimos 45 minutos, sino de manera inmediata pudieron conseguir por lo menos un gol y lo intentaron, pero después dejaron de hacerlo y se refugiaron atrás muy cerca de su portero; en el segundo tiempo fue igual, nada de actitud, nada de presión, todos llenos de nerviosismo, solo la tranquilidad y relajación de los jugadores portugueses pudo dar pie para que los turcos buscaran el primer gol que los hiciera soñar y así fue, un gran gol que hizo por lo menos despertar al DT portugués que decidió hacer cambios, los cuales pensé que no eran acertados porque cambió a delanteros por delanteros, en vez de buscar control en el medio campo al hacer entrar a mediocampistas, pero tiempo después se dio cuenta de que estaba perdiendo protagonismo y realizó cambios haciendo entrar a jugadores con buen juego como William Carvalho para recuperar el balón y controlar los minutos finales, pero pienso que el cansancio era evidente por el desgaste y eso lo aprovecho Turquía yendo adelante y consiguiendo el penal que lamentablemente para Turquía fue fallado en los minutos finales cerrando toda puerta para que los jugadores turcos soñarán con un empate y seguir con vida en esta eliminatoria. Al final el plan de Portugal funcionó y estarán en la final del día martes dónde sorpresivamente se enfrentarán contra la selección de Macedonia que elimino a la campeona de la Eurocopa; imagino que Fernando Santos repetirá el esquema, pero para ser sincero para mí no es perfecto, no es el mejor y creo que contra otros equipos de mejor nivel no servirá, pero hay otra cosa fundamental y es que por ahora eso no importa, ya que si sirve por 90 minutos más, entonces eso significa que el próximo primero de abril estarán dentro del sorteo de la fase de grupos para el mundial de Qatar y eso es lo más importante ahora.
