En la emocionante final de Copa del Rey, el Real Betis del "Ingeniero" se proclamó campeón

El pasado sábado se enfrentaron en el estadio La Cartuja de Sevilla, el Real Betis y El Valencia CF; a pesar de que está final no se enfrentarían ningún club famoso de España, de igual manera existía una serie de factores que convirtieron a esta final en una atractiva, primero era el enfrentamiento de estilos, el equipo del Ingeniero Pellegrini es muy ofensivo, en cambio, el equipo de Bordalás es uno que siempre se ha definido como defensivo, que juega siempre al contraataque; otro factor importante es el otro gran premio que da el ganar este título y es el de entrar en una competición organizada por la UEFA como lo es la Europa League, de seguro un gran premio por ejemplo para un club como el Valencia que está en la mitad de la tabla muy lejos de clasificar a estos torneos y también es un gran premio para el Betis porque así se reconoce el gran fútbol que han practicado en toda la actual temporada.

Este juego se volvió sumamente relevante para ambos equipos y sus aficionados, es la oportunidad para "salvar la temporada" ganando un título en España y es por eso que ambos clubes se enfocaron en tener el mejor desempeño y convertirse en campeones. Para esta oportunidad el equipo del Betis uso un esquema muy habitual y ofensivo y es que el 4-2-3-1 es uno que da balance y como dije un buen ataque porque aprovechas que los laterales derecho e izquierdo suban al ataque y los dos interiores pudieran convertirse en delanteros, esa es otro factor importante en el ataque del Betis y es que este equipo cuentan con dos mediocampistas con muy buen visón de juego y con uno que sirve más que nada como extremo izquierdo, sin duda son muy buenos acompañantes de Borja Iglesias quien es el único delantero; por parte del Valencia me sorprendió el planteamiento ofensivo y es que el esquema que usó Bordalás era para contraatacar, no digo nada nuevo con esto, pero pienso que la idea era poblar el medio campo y así ganar los espacios que generaban el Betis cuando hasta 6 de sus jugadores se sumarán al ataque; el esquema del Valencia fue 3-4-2-1, lo sorpresivo fue ver a Guedes como único atacante cuando siempre está de extremo y con eso no hay duda de que el Valencia jugaría a la contra y para eso deberían contar con el jugador más ofensivo (y talentoso) que tiene ese equipo.

Se que muchas personas que no son seguidores de estos dos clubes se sintieron atraídas en un primer momento por esta final, pero como ya he dicho, con los factores que conforman este importante encuentro, probablemente seríamos testigo de un gran juego de fútbol y me alegra que así fuera, ambos equipos dieron todo por ganar sin ser para nada especulativos, siempre en mente jugar como lo han hecho en toda una temporada siendo fiel a su estilo de juego; por esto creo que el Betis por "jugar de local" se vio más cómodo al principio del primer tiempo y a causa de eso fue que consiguió el primer gol, esto desconcertó al Valencia que no se veía cómodo jugando con esa línea de tres y es que no es casualidad que este club este en mitad de tabla porque sus defensores no son garantía y en este juego no cumplirían de forma adecuada en los primeros minutos; apresar de incesante ataque verdiblanco, entre la suerte y gran actuación de Mamardashvili, portero Valenciano, el club Ché mantuvo la posibilidad de conseguir el empate el cual llegaría cuando el Betis volcado al ataque dejaría desprotegida el mediocampo y defensa y con una salida rápida de Soler a Iliax, este joven jugador asiste Hugo Duro que con velocidad llega al área rival anotando el empate definiendo de forma magistral ante la salida del portero bético, Claudio Bravo; la intensidad y la anotación de dos buenos goles es lo que define los primeros 45 minutos entre ambos equipos, esto lo traigo a acotación porque en este final de temporada muchos equipos llegan con problemas físicos y jugar de esta forma crea más desgaste y eso fue evidente en el segundo tiempo cuando el Valencia todavía con mentalidad de contraatacar, se resguardó mucho más y eso hizo que el Betis dominará aún más la posesión del balón aunque el cansancio también estuvo presente en el club sevillano y por eso el ataque no fue el mejor y se perdió muchas oportunidades para conseguir la victoria dentro de los 90 minutos reglamentarios.

Treinta minutos extra y una tanda de penales fue lo suficiente para saber quién sería el nuevo campeón de la Copa del Rey; ambos equipos dieron lo mejor de sí jugando un partido lleno de intensidad y emoción, este es un claro ejemplo de como se debe disputar una final y hasta creo que ambos equipos con sus jugadores y cuerpo técnico pensaron y aplicaron la frase de "Las finales hay que ganarlas" y así quisieron hacer, cada uno con sus estilos, con su manera de ver el fútbol que les han dado victorias y también derrotas, pero que justamente cumplieron en este torneo y por eso son los que disputaron está final. El Betis se lleva un gran premio, merecido por cómo ha competido en esta temporada tanto en La Liga, Copa del Rey y UEL, lo lamentable es que como en otras temporadas, cuando está cerca el final la condición física de muchos de sus jugadores no es la mejor y la calidad de juego disminuye y es cuando se pierde oportunidades de lograr cosas importantes, pero está era una oportunidad que anteriormente no se había presentado y por eso no se podía escapar a pesar de que todo estaba en manos de la tanda de penales, pero la suerte estuvo del lado del Betis y por eso fue que este equipo consiguió un título que no se ganaba desde hace ya 17 años. Para ser sincero había pasado un gran tiempo que no veía una final tan competitiva, igualada y emocionante y es que el espectáculo que dieron Betis y Valencia fue muy bueno y es grato para el aficionado del fútbol ver este tipo de juegos y nos enseña que sin importar de ver a los clubes habituales disputar un título, siempre están otros equipos dispuestos a competir para tener esa alegría de ser reconocidos como campeones.
