When it comes to using a mobile phone, what I look at is the comfort and convenience of using it. As it is I am not a very tech savvy or gadget savvy person. In my home there are barely any gadgets, I like to keep it simple. At all my friends place there is Alexa and what not and they keep asking me why me and hubby do not buy these things. Honestly I just do not feel a need for it, the more the gadgets the lazier we are becoming.

Coming to the phone choice, I have been an android user right from the beginning of when I started using a mobile phone. I think android is the smart phone technology and before that I do not know what technology did Nokia phones had. When the mobile phones were newly out in the market, there was only Nokia and not many other options, it was the dominant player in the market, so but obvious I also had Nokia phones till the time they were leading. When Nokia started going down and Samsung started emerging, I went in for Samsung and since then I have always bought a Samsung phone, which I am not exactly sure but may be around 15 years or even more.

I have tried looking at other options whenever I have planned on buying a phone, but after comparing the features I always end up with Samsung. I find it convenient to use. I am aware of all the features and also it's keypad functioning and I have no wish to experiment anything new. I am happy in my comfort zone. Many of my friends use iPhone and they keep bragging about it, honestly at the end of the day, it all serves the same purpose, so it does not bother me.

The major apps that I use on my phone are Google chrome, MS office and some cab booking apps, that's it, and Samsung gives much more then this so I am happy and satisfied with it. Though Samsung is now getting expensive I still do not wish to change. There are cheaper brands in the market giving the same output but then this is one thing I would like to keep it the way it is. I am happy with using Samsung phones and it will always be my first choice, unless Samsung starts going down like how Nokia did.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

At this point, iPhones & Samsungs are both fairly easy to use & insanely expensive if you ask me :D
But they work and thats why they are selling the most :D

I switched from One Plus to Google Pixel last time I bought a phone.
Google Pixel is like $550 usd, so way cheaper than One Plus, Samsung or iPhone and it works just like a phone, nothing fancy :D

I always tell my parents to either buy a cheap Samsung or switch to iPhone, when they are looking for a new phone, just so its easier for them to use it :D

That's right both of these are dominant players in the market, they have build a brand for themselves. A lot of my friends are crazy for One Plus, it seems to be a good one too.
My mom has also been a Samsung phone, but she prefers the basic one.

I still have a SIM plugged into one of those old Nokia phones and it works impeccably. I like to play with tech every now and then, so I degoogled a Xiaomi and installed Lineage OS. I also have an older iPhone version that I use to see how things get displayed in the Apple ecosystem. But my main phone and phone of choice for years has been Motorola due to its strong battery. I don't know of any other "phone/brand" that you can use for almost a week without charging it. And yes, I do travel and use it quite a bit. The downside: the images aren't fancy but that's unimportant to me. Although I'm a bit tech savvy, I don't use Alexa, smartwatches, and all those gadgets. We're bombarded left, right, and center with EMF; don't need to blast that throughout my home too. So I totally get your viewpoint as to keeping life to life, and tech to being a vehicle, not a decor strongly related to "identity" 😉

Ahhhaaaa, that seems interesting, I prefer Samsung for this one main reason the picture clarity as now when I travel I only carry my phone and no Camera so it's better to have a high resolution. Besides the phone I do not have much interest in any other gadgets, as you rightly say I do not want to blast my home with EMF

I had experience with Samsung because their mobile phone is really awesome and sturdy. And when it comes to the battery, its top notch too. Then android came, I thought I'll stay with Samsung. But then, I am still using Oppo till now. Its decent too. But I'n planning to try Samsung, the next time I have to buy a phone again.

I do not see problems with any other brands, I guess it's about one's convenience of using it.
