Summary of date 1 Qatar 2022: Group A [ESP-ENG]
Hay una iniciativa increible de parte @hivebuzz para el mundial de Qatar 2022 a la que quise sumarme activamente a participar. Aqui tejo los detalles del concurso por si quieres unirte y ademas, voy a realizar estos resumenes diariamente con cada fecha del mundial para así apoyar al crecimiento del concurso.
There is an incredible initiative from @hivebuzz for the Qatar 2022 World Cup that I wanted to join actively to participate. Here are the details of the contest in case you want to join and also, I will make these summaries daily with each date of the world cup to support the growth of the pool contest.
La fecha numero 1 de la copa del mundo se termino hoy con el partido entre Senegal y Paises Bajos, muchas emociones en estos primeros dos partidos del mundial que no han decepcionado para nada, en medio de toda la controversia que rodeaba al campeonato, al final el futbol ganó cuando la pelota se puso a rodar. Vamos a con el resumen de los partidos y mis opiniones al respecto, así que bienvenidos.
The first day of the World Cup ended today with the match between Senegal and the Netherlands, many emotions in these first two matches of the World Cup that have not disappointed at all, amid all the controversy surrounding the championship, in the end soccer won when the ball got rolling. Let's go with the summary of the matches and my opinions about it, so welcome.
Qatar 0 - 2 Ecuador

Resumen del partido.
La copa inicio el dia de ayer cuando Qatar y Ecuador se enfrentaron en el primer duelo. Apenas en el minuto 4 se anuló el primer gol por parte del VAR por posición adelantada, un gol bien anulado pero que dejaba en evidencia la terrible falta de juego del equipo local, que tuvo un desempeño increíblemente malo en el primer tiempo.
Ecuador dominó a Qatar en todos los aspectos del juego y en el minuto 16 un penal muy bien cobrado y perfectamente ejecutado por Enner Valencia se convirtió en el primer gol del mundial, sin bajar el ritmo y con Qatar mostrando casi nada, de nuevo Enner Valencia en el minuto 31 puso el 2-0 después de asestar un increíble cabezazo en el área.
Con el resultado a favor y el equipo contrario visiblemente derrotado en el primer tiempo, Ecuador salió en el segundo tiempo con una pasividad esperada, y Qatar aprovecho esto para tener mas protagonismo en el partido. Los espacios dieron oportunidades que Ecuador no pudo aprovechar al encontrarse con un muy buen desempeño del arquero Qatarí y Mohhamed Muntari estuvo cerca de marcar un golazo, pero al final no pudo ser y el partido terminó con este resultado.
Mi opinion.
El resultado era el que esperaba yo, Ecuador es un conjunto muy superior a Qatar en nomina, pero debo decir que no esperaba una presentacion tan floja de parte de Qatar, que hay que recordar que es campeon actual de Asia. Sinceramente creo que todo el revuelo del mundial lo apabulló al local que terminaron siendo muy inferiores de lo que podian ser. Mi apuesta a este partido fue un 2-1 cerrado a favor de Ecuador, y aunque el marcador estuvo cerca de eso, lo que se vio en el campo pintaba para un 5-0 de parte de los sudamericanos. Creo que Ecuador cometió un error al confiarse y no buscar mas goles, cada gol cuenta y sobre todo en un grupo como este donde Holanda se ve favorita a ser primero y Ecuador tendrá que disputar un segundo puesto con Senegal si es asi.
Match summary.
The cup kicked off yesterday when Qatar and Ecuador faced each other in the first match. Just in the 4th minute the first goal was disallowed by the VAR for an advanced position, a goal that was well disallowed but which showed the terrible lack of play of the home team, which had an unbelievably bad performance in the first half.
Ecuador dominated Qatar in all aspects of the game, attacking and defending and in the 16th minute a very well taken penalty perfectly executed by Enner Valencia became the first goal of the World Cup, without slowing down and with Qatar showing almost nothing, again Enner Valencia in the 31st minute made it 2-0 after an incredible header in the area.
With the result in favor and the opposing team visibly defeated on the first half, Ecuador came out in the second half with an expected passivity, and Qatar took advantage of this to have more prominence in the match. The spaces gave Ecuador opportunities that they could not take advantage of as they found a very good performance by the Qatari goalkeeper and Mohhamed Muntari came close to scoring a great goal, but in the end it was not to be and the match ended with this result.
My opinion.
The result was near to what I expected before the game star, Ecuador is a much better team than Qatar, but I must say that I didn't expect such a poor performance from Qatar, which is the current champion of Asia. I sincerely believe that all the hype of the World Cup overwhelmed the local team and they ended up being much inferior to what they could be. My bet on this match was a close 2-1 in favor of Ecuador, and although the score was close to that, what was seen on the field looked like a 5-0 win for the South Americans. I think Ecuador made a mistake by being confident and not looking for more goals, every goal counts and especially in a group like this where the Netherlands are favorites to be first and Ecuador will have to dispute a second place with Senegal if that is the case.

Resumen del partido.
Cuando se anunció que Sadio Mané no jugaría la copa yo saque todas mis esperanzas con la selección de Senegal, que si bien no me parece mala, creo que sin Mane es un auto sin su motor. Todo lo bueno que hizo Senegal este año fue de la mano de este jugador y al no estar yo pensé que Holanda lo iba a apabullar, cosa que no pasó. El partido estuvo muy trabado en la mitad de la cancha lo que se tradujo en 80 minutos de un juego en el que apenas hubieron ocasiones, Nampalys Mendy y Gana Gueye neutralizaron a De Jong y Berghuis durante casi todo el partido y tambien en viceversa.
En el minuto 84 el jugador del Barcelona Frenkie De Jong hizo gala de gran vision de juego y su privilegiado pase para ponerle un balon fuera de todo contexto a Akpo, que tras un cambio raro de Louis Van Gaal pasó a jugar como centrodelantero. El movimiento le hizo justicia al tecnico y lograron marcar asi el 1-0, a partir de aqui Senegal sin nada que perder se fue al ataque con todo lo que tenia lo que provocó que en una contra de Memphis Depay el portero del Chelsea y de Senegal, Edoard Mendy diera un flojo rebote que luego terminó en el 2-0 final.
Mi opinión.
Creo que el tramite flojo del partido fue mas convicción de Senegal que falta de juego de los europeos, que por momentos se vio inferior a los africanos, también creo que la falta de Mané se sintió demasiado en Senegal, que transportaba bien el balón pero no tenia a ningún jugador con la capacidad de concretar una jugada. Por otro lado la incapacidad de respuesta de Paises Bajos me sorprendió bastante, que de a ratos solo tocaba el balón de un lado a otro sin ninguna idea, para como yo lo veo, este partido se resolvió gracias a las individualidades, porque en el colectivo ningun equipo pudo sacarle ventaja al otro.
Match summary.
When it was announced that Sadio Mané would not play in the cup, I got my hopes up for the Senegal team, which although I don't think it's bad, I think that without Mané it's a car without its engine. All the good things Senegal did this year were thanks to this player and when he wasn't there I thought the Netherlands was going to overwhelm them, which didn't happen. The match was very tight in the middle of the field which resulted in 80 minutes of a game in which there were hardly any chances, Nampalys Mendy and Gana Gueye neutralized De Jong and Berghuis for most of the game and vice versa.
In the 84th minute of the match, Barcelona's player Frenkie De Jong showed great vision and privileged passing to put a ball out of context to Akpo, who after a rare change by Louis Van Gaal switched to play as a center-forward. The move did justice to the coach and they managed to score the 1-0, from here Senegal with nothing to lose went on the attack with everything they had which caused that in a counter by Memphis Depay the Chelsea and Senegal goalkeeper, Edoard Mendy gave a weak rebound that then ended in the final 2-0.
My opinion.
I think that the visibly bored game without goal options and no emotions was more Senegal's conviction than the lack of play of the Europeans, who at times looked inferior to the Africans, I also think that the lack of Mané was felt too much in Senegal, who carried the ball well but did not have any player with the ability to make a move. On the other hand, I was quite surprised by the inability of the Netherlands to respond, who at times just played the ball from one side to the other without any idea, as I see it, this match was solved thanks to the individuals, because in the collective no team was able to take advantage of the other.

Luego de esta primera fecha tenemos a Paises Bajos y Ecuador empatados en la primera posición, ambos con tres puntos y la misma diferencia de goles, mientras que Qatar y Senegal empatan sin puntos y obviamente, con la misma diferencia de goles. Todo muy igualado en un grupo que seguramente se definirá en la siguiente fecha, cuando se enfrenten Qatar y Senegal asi como Ecuador y Paises bajos dentro de cuatro días. Si hay un perdedor entre Qatar y Senegal quedará eliminado del torneo, lo que hace que ese partido sea muy emotivo.

After this first date have ended we have the Netherlands and Ecuador tied in the first position in every score, both with three points for their victories and the same goal difference, while Qatar and Senegal are tied without points and obviously, with the same goal difference. All very evenly matched in a group that will surely be defined on the next date, when Qatar and Senegal as well as Ecuador and Netherlands face each other in four days. If there is a loser between Qatar and Senegal they will be eliminated from the tournament, which makes that match very emotional.

Sorprendió que Ecuador no anotara más goles a Catar, que no puso ni las manos para defenderse.
Yo veo a las selección de Ecuador muy sólida ojo con ella.
Yo creo que sabiendose ganadores simplemente salieron a esperar que pasara el tiempo en la segunda mitad, ojala eso no lo lamenten despues.
