Patrick Vieira Returns to England as Crystal Palace Coach
Patrick Vieira has finally returned to the Premier League Leaque not as a player but as coach of Crystal Palace. Vieira replaces previous Palace coach Roy Hodgson. Reportedly the former Arsenal legend will be at Palace for the next three years.
Previous palace coach Hodgson stepped down as coach after serving four seasons. Palace last season sat fourteenth in the final standings. Meanwhile, Viera had previously been a coach for two years at French Ligue 1 club Nice and ended in sacking in December last year.
New York City's Major League Soccer (MLS) club has also appointed Viera as its coach from 2006-2020. It will be a new experience for Viera in the managerial chair of a team.
Patrick Vieira akhirnya kembali ke Liga Premier Leaque bukan sebagai pemain tetapi sebagai pelatih Crystal Palace. Vieira menggantikan pelatih Palace sebelumnya Roy Hodgson. Kabarnya mantan legenda Arsenal tersebut akan ada di Palace sampai tiga tahun mendatang.
Pelatih palace sebelumnya Hodgson mengundurkan diri sebagai pelatih setelah mengabdi selama empat musim. Palace musim lalu duduk di urutan ke empat belas klasemen akhir. Sedangkan Viera sebelumnya pernah menjadi pelatih dua tahun di klub Ligue 1 Prancis Nice dan berakhir dengan pemecatan pada desember tahun lalu
