In the month of May a lot of Brgy.s are celebrating fiesta. When there's a fiesta, obviously there should be entertainment so people from different places would come. This has been done intentionally so that a brgy. who is celebrating will be jolly or crowded. Every brgy. I think it's an honor to celebrate their fiesta with such a large crowd.

Most Filipinos love basketball so when there's a brgy. that is hosting a game. That brgy. will be the most visited place at the moment, from the neighboring brgy.s. That's why many basketball players are participating from different brgy.s. Unfortunately, not all brgy.s are supporting their players. Some of them just wanted to watch the game but didn't give any. For example, entry fees, uniforms and the worst is the basketball court where the players play and practice.

I posted about our poor basketball court in the previous weeks. It's so sad to know that the teenagers here really love to play basketball but they can't enjoy it. They did a solicitation and managed to own a basketball uniform but only the upper one. Since it only has a lower budget, having an up-and-down uniform is impossible. Even so, it's nice to have a uniform when participating in the game.

Although, last week participation in the basketball league ended up being lost. The players know how to play, it's just that coordination like communication to each other was impossible. Specifically, they don't have teamwork because there's no set play being made since they didn't play each other all the time.

In this brgy. they only have one ring. They can not play each other 5 vs 5 when playing. from what I noticed, they played 3 balls most of the time and then played shooting the ball only. They don't have a court to play and you can tell that even the basketball ring is broken or damaged. I just hope it will be fixed soon because it's so sad to see the players down after losing. They were desperate to accept the truth that it's because they don't have a court where they could play all the time.
