Learning from the best : tournament day
Right from a young age, I have loved table tennis; it happens to be one of the games I love playing.
Even in my university days, when we were taught table tennis as a course, I was always different because I made sure I played it well. In fact, I had a march with my lecturer, and it was a day I could not forget. Although he won the match with two points, it was an interesting game you will love to watch.
I had the privilege to serve. In a very big stadium, I found all sports and their equipment on a platter of gold. It is good to be good, I must say, because it was an offer from the camp.
I took a morning walk today as today is a public holiday here, and then I saw a big gym and men playing what I love to play, which is table tennis. They all look big and professional. I was told it's a tournament they are playing, and that is how they play every week. That is their own profession.
I stayed more to watch their games. Then I could not hold it any longer while the owner or the one in charge asked me to come over to see what I had. I played a friendly match with one of their team members, and it was so nice. There are lots of champions sitting and watching, and as I was just passing by, I was only able to beat one person among them.
Their leader asked me how many years have I been playing then I told him I only play for fun that it's not my profession, he said I played like a champion that he loves the way i played. He doesn't talk much, so he said he would love to play with me. I couldn't resist because I have always wanted to play with someone so much better than me. The man beat me so well. Yeah, that's funny, but I learned a lot from him.
I was given $20 for just playing and being encouraged by their coach. I was told that they would love to see more people come around more often. Honestly, that place seems so nice, and their coach seems so friendly to me. I love the way he interacts with me, and I told him I would also love to come over to play every week.
I stayed back to watch them play for hours until I left the place. It was so nice to see what I'm so good at.
All the pictures on this was taken by me with my phone
Note: I used QUILLBOT grammar checker to correct my grammars after which I have written everything myself
