Can It Be All So Simple: August 13 2024

Today was another day with the family. We kind of took it easy today. We just went out on the town and did random thing. We toured a museum. We also played this 3d game where we fought aliens and zombies with little ray guns. My son had bought some candy cigarettes beforehand. I didn't even know they still made those. I took one and it helped me make the ridiculous photo above. I'd never do real cigarettes but I guess candy ones aren't that bad.

It was a light day today so I only managed a little over 11 thousand steps. I could have done more, but I really was teying to relax a little bit. I didn't even get 10 floors in. I think I'll be a lot more active tomorrow though.

Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today that song was "Can it be all so simple" by the Wu-tang Clan. This is a pretty nostalgic song for me and it just so happened to fit right in with today. I think I'll look back at this time one day and think to myself "Man it was just a simple time for me."

Speaking of simple...it's time for me to get my old self to bed. I'll check in with y'all tomorrow.
