Sepsis Shock & Grieving?
Today doctors told me that my Mom's life is in danger. She is in ER and it's very critical as she got a severe sepsis shock and they try to contain the infection. They told me that her life expectancy is low and I can come over and say goodbye to her. I'm still in shock digesting all the information that I got confronted with, unfortunately I'm in Austria and my Mom in Germany approx. 8 hours away by train. Another doctor tried to calm me down, nevertheless she told me via phone that she's fighting for her life. I'll phone in tomorrow morning, I wish from the bottom of my heart that she'll make it through the night and also the next months. I hardly can express in words how sad I am
