Gardening in 2025 has started

I just had my first gardening session of the new year, and it felt wonderful to get outside, even in this chilly weather—temperatures have dropped to nearly 5 degrees. I finally managed to prune the fig tree, something I regrettably couldn’t do last year. I've heard that a good, bold pruning can lead to bigger figs next year, so I really gave it my all this time. I’m looking forward to tending to the Lee tree next month, too. I truly hope both trees bear a bountiful harvest this year. Gardening always brings me such joy, and I can’t wait to see what the season holds.

新年を迎えて初めてのガーデニングを行った。寒さも本格的になって、5度近くまで下がっている。去年はできなかったイチジクの木の剪定を行った。イチジクは結構大胆に剪定をする方が次の年に大きく育つと教えてもらい、しっかりと剪定した。李の木は来月剪定する予定。今年はたくさん実がなって欲しい。
