My gardening in winter 2024, Failed!!

This year has been a year of a little gardening. I made space in my garden over the summer to plant small vegetables and fruits. I bought and planted eggplant and cauliflower for fall vegetables. That was a disaster this year! The fall eggplant didn't grow big enough and the cauliflower was eaten by caterpillars, so I couldn't harvest at all. Well, I am not gardening for the sake of harvesting, but I feel a little sad when I cannot harvest at all. Next year, I am thinking of planting strawberries in the fall instead 🎵.

今年は少しガーデニングを楽しんだ一年でした。庭に小さな野菜や果物を植えるスペースを夏に作りました。秋野菜の為に茄子とカリフラワーを買って植えました。それが今年は大失敗！秋茄子は大きくならず、カリフラワーは青虫に食べられて全然収穫が出来ませんでした。まぁ、収穫のためにガーデニングをしているのではないのですが、全く収穫できないと少し悲しくなるものですねぇ。来年は秋は苺を代わりに植えようと思っています🎵
