Controversies on MPBL Sports

The MPBL or the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League which is being handled by Manny Pacquiao to promote basketball in every city within the Philippines. This also help promote basketball opportunities to many Filipino players that are not able to take the edge to be part of a commercialized basketball team. But, despite the efforts of Manny Pacquiao there are many people who take advantage to the sports which they engage to fixed games in order to promote gambling which will reflect bad image to the sports.

Now that these controversies has been exposed and conduct investigation within the committee of MPBL. They do have now the list of individuals as well as the team involved in such a non-sportsmanship behavior which they will file a case in order to serve as a lesson to all the teams and players who wants to do the same act. I think the team involved in the league should be suspended or something that could serve a lesson to others aside from the file case.

I am hoping that these controversies in Philippine sports should never be bad reflection as there are many people who are honest and always implement sportsmanship.
