Rabona - Social Media Challenge, My Favorite Formation

Chegamos em mais um desafio semanal em Rabona e o tema para essa semana é minha formação favorita.

Minha formação favorita é o 4-3-3 pois sempre gostei de um modo de jogo ofensivo com 3 atacantes, isso deixa o jogo com uma adrenalina maior e mesmo quando estamos atacando um contra-ataque pode mudar o rumo do jogo. As possibilidades de mais coisas acontecerem é maior, acredito.

Mas falando sobre estratégias dentro do Rabona, eu não tenho uma formação favorita. Eu geralmente coloco uma formação baseado no que tenho em mãos para aquela temporada:

• Se a a minha parte defensiva está muito melhor que o resto dos setores eu gosto de usar uma formação mais robusta, 3-5-2 ou 4-5-1. Dessa forma o setor mais forte da uma boa base de segurança para o time, levar poucos gols em uma partida é importante.

• Se o meio de campo está melhor e com mais opções eu gosto de colocar formações em que mais jogadores estejam por lá, pois esse é um setor do campo em que os jogadores podem dar suporte para o ataque quanto para a defesa. Gosto de usar as formações 4-5-1, 4-4-2 e 4-2-3-1 para essa ocasião.

• Com o ataque melhor o 4-3-3 é uma boa escalação assim como o 4-4-2.

Obviamente isso não é uma regra, apenas gosto de me basear isso para criar minhas estratégias. A formação é uma boa base de planejamento para uma partida e testar como um time se comporta é essencial para encontrar uma maneira de ter um melhor aproveitamento de seus jogadores.

Falando em estratégia, uma coisa muito importante no Rabona é olhar o que o adversário tem usado em suas últimas partidas e assim se planejar para uma possibilidade de reutilizar as mesmas formações. Cada formação tem vantagem sobre outra e dessa forma podemos melhorar as chances de ganhar uma partida.

De acordo com o jogo cada formação tem pontos fortes e fracos individuais contra outras formações:

• 4-3-3 funciona bem contra 4-4-2 e 3-5-2
• 4-2-3-1 tem sua força contra 4-3-3
• 4-4-2 funciona melhor contra 4-2-3-1 e 3-5-2
• 3-5-2 é mais forte contra 4-5-1 e 4-2-3-1
• 4-5-1 supera 4-4-2 e 4-3-3

Essa é uma tabela que encontramos no Rabona de força de uma formação sobre a outra:

Além disso, a eficácia de sua escolha de formação também dependerá das estatísticas de formação de seus jogadores. Portanto, mesmo que você escolha uma formação que seja fraca contra outra, ainda pode ser a melhor seleção se seus jogadores souberem jogar bem essa formação.

My favorite formation is the 4-3-3 because I've always liked an offensive game mode with 3 attackers, this makes the game more adrenaline and even when we are attacking a counterattack can change the course of the game. The possibilities for more things to happen is greater, I believe.

But talking about strategies within Rabona, I don't have a favorite formation. I usually put a lineup based on what I have on hand for that season:

• If my defensive part is much better than the rest of the sectors I like to use a more robust formation, 3-5-2 or 4-5-1. In this way, the strongest sector provides a good base of security for the team, conceding few goals in a match is important.

• If the midfield is better and with more options, I like to put formations in which more players are there, as this is a sector of the field where players can support both the attack and the defense. I like to use 4-5-1, 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1 formations for this occasion.

• With the best attack the 4-3-3 is a good lineup as well as the 4-4-2.

Obviously this is not a rule, I just like to base myself on it to create my strategies. Formation is a good basis for planning a match and testing how a team behaves is essential to find a way to get the best out of your players.

Speaking of strategy, a very important thing in Rabona is to look at what the opponent has used in their last matches and thus plan for the possibility of reusing the same formations. Each formation has an advantage over another and that way we can improve our chances of winning a match.

Depending on the game each formation has individual strengths and weaknesses against other formations:

• 4-3-3 works well against 4-4-2 and 3-5-2
• 4-2-3-1 has its strength against 4-3-3
• 4-4-2 works best against 4-2-3-1 and 3-5-2
• 3-5-2 is stronger against 4-5-1 and 4-2-3-1
• 4-5-1 beats 4-4-2 and 4-3-3

Furthermore, the effectiveness of your formation choice will also depend on your players' formation stats. So even if you choose a formation that is weak against another, it can still be the best selection if your players know how to play that formation well.

In short, it pays to have players who are good in multiple formations as this allows for good flexibility against different tactical formations. However, it can also be a valid strategy to focus on just one formation - and achieve very high stats on that one.
