A Weekend at the Beach
After quite a few hectic weeks finally last week was again somewhat “normal”. While things settled, I decided it would be good to take it too the next level of relaxation.
On Thursday we decided it would be nice to spend the weekend at the beach. It is always great to unwind at the beach when you can!
Friday after work, we loaded up the Caddy and drove to the Dutch coast of Zeeland. During the weekend we mostly relaxed. Half a day we rented a small sailboat and did some easy light wind sailing. In the evenings we watched the sunset and even got rewarded with a beautiful double rainbow!
The pictures hardly do it justice! One doesn’t have to travel far to see beauty… I love Zeeland.

Some advice for next time if it is a sunny day in the spring/summer: Go to the beach at night too!

Ah, good idea! I have seen Zeevonk while sailing at night on the trail behind the boat. Such an amazing phenomenon!
The rainbow was a real treat! We were sitting on a dune watching the sunset. Then I looked behind me for no reason, and then there was the rainbow! Great :-)

That must have been amazing from the boat! Those plankton is really like magic.
Im already home, we went on a short trip. Now it is time to build again, and go to austria for some week. Im still looking for some time to write my holiday stories down.
