Nice post! I definitely get your frustration with loving something but then having to miss out because there's so much - I have that with the Polish football league: hide in my cave for the whole weekend and watch every game there is.
Having followed mostly female tennis in the last years, it is crazy how many "i barely heard this name" moments I have when looking at the ATP ranking.

You're right, there are so many new faces and more are coming with every tournament. But this is not bad at all as every tournament is interesting. Actually there's no boring one, nor predictable ones.
Also this shows no one is bullet proof, you can be world no. 1 and beaten in the first round. That's why I love it. There's no big trio anymore. The best wins!
