Volleyball Nations League 2023 [EN/PT-BR]

My wife loves volleyball, it runs in her family. Her mother plays, and her aunts. My oldest son now plays for his highschool team. A couple of months ago we found out that some games for the Mens Volleyball Nations League were going to be hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center. Coincidently my mother in law was coming to visit with her sister around the same time, so my wife decided to buy tickets for all of us. Anaheim is just about 1 hour driving from San Diego (without traffic), just for reference, the convention center is next door to Disneyland. We got tickets to watch USA x France last night. The arena is not big, and we were sitting pretty close to the court. I took pictures from where we were sitting and one from a level above. Team USA won pretty easy with a 3 x 0, but France didn't play bad, the sets were close, the last 2 sets ended 27 x 25. Super fun night!!

Minha esposa adora vôlei, é algo que está na família dela. Sua mãe e suas tias jogam. Meu filho mais velho agora joga no time da escola. Há alguns meses, descobrimos que alguns jogos da Liga das Nações de Vôlei Masculino seriam realizados no Anaheim Convention Center. Coincidentemente, minha sogra estava vindo visitar com sua irmã na mesma época, então minha esposa decidiu comprar ingressos para todos nós. Anaheim fica a cerca de uma hora de carro de San Diego (sem trânsito) e, só para referência, o centro de convenções fica ao lado da Disneyland. Compramos ingressos para assistir ao jogo EUA x França na noite passada. A arena não é grande, e estávamos sentados bem perto da quadra. Tirei fotos de onde estávamos sentados e uma de um nível acima. A equipe dos EUA venceu com facilidade por 3 x 0, mas a França não jogou mal, os sets foram disputados, os dois últimos terminaram em 27 x 25. Noite super divertida!!!

Foi muito legal, a gente tava torcendo pros EUA, mas queriamos que a França ganhasse pelo menos 1 set pra ter mais jogo pra assistir. Esse 3 x 0 pareceu rapido demais.
Foi realmente predominante o poder dos EUA kkkk, mas como você disse foi disputado, mas um lado jogou bem melhor! Imagino que tenha sido uma experiência incrível pra todos!

Boa, eu sou muito entusiasta dos esportes de quadra, também gosto muito de assistir no ginásio e acho que deveríamos dar muito mais valor aos atletas. Agora, a informação que me chamou mais a atenção é que o ginásio fica perto da Disneylândia 😄 Não sabia que tinha um parque da Disney na Califórnia também 🤭
Disneyland é o parque original, o primeiro a existir. Só muito depois veio a Disney World em Orlando.
Disneyland fica no meio de Anaheim (Los Angeles), no meio da cidade mesmo.
Olha só, tá aí uma informação que eu não tinha e que acho que a maioria do pessoal aqui no Brasil nem imagina 😄
Da uma olhada no google maps, o parque é grande, bem no meio da cidade.
Na próxima temporada de basquete quero ir num jogo do Lakers.
Vou olhar, sim 😄 Bah, um jogo do Lakers, ainda mais com o LeBron James em quadra, é imperdível 🤗 Qualquer jogo da NBA já é um espetáculo, mas o Lakers é ainda mais especial, vale a pena demais 😉
