I still remember as if it were yesterday, when I took my first steps in the world of running, which has now become my lifestyle. It has been a path full of total overcoming from the first day, from going to walk a few meters, where the fatigue invaded me, until now to run 21 k in an official race, as I participated last month in the prestigious race CAF 2025.

Being a runner has made me grow in every way, and the most wonderful thing is that it has shown me that it is never too late to start, to reach our dreams, to set goals, we just have to trust in ourselves, in our strengths, and no matter if others don't believe it, the important thing is that we believe it. And so after four years of focus, growth, consistency, overcoming stages, without skipping any going from less to more, I have achieved in my participation in a race for health in my city, what a runner wants a place on the podium of the winners, regardless of the popularity of the race, getting on the podium is something indescribable, and even more against runners of such a high reputation in my area.

Fue una carrera diferente a las otras que he participado, primero porque fue un grupo de runners de la zona de muy alto rendimiento, alrededor de 60 runners, muchos de ellos que veo diariamente en las calles, avenidas, estadium entrenando fue bonito reunirnos como en un entrenamiento en grupo juntos. A pesar de ser una carrera con pocos recursos, no nos falto nada, todos colaboraron con la hidratacion, atencion, nunca nos sentimos solos, el pueblo feliz de vernos trotar alrededor de las calles de la ciudad.

It was a different race to the others I have participated, first because it was a group of runners from the area of very high performance, about 60 runners, many of them that I see daily in the streets, avenues, stadium training, it was nice to meet as in a group training together. Despite being a race with few resources, we did not lack anything, everyone helped with hydration, attention, we never felt alone, the people were happy to see us jogging around the streets of the city.

Quede satisfecha con mi desempeño en esta carrera, baje mi RP en 10K, trabajando siempre los últimos dos kilometros que siempre me cuestan, por lo que debo seguir trabajando en mis puntos debiles. Al final disfrutamos todos de meriendas, un compartir juntos por tan excelente participación, apoyo y organización.

I was satisfied with my performance in this race, I lowered my PR in 10K, always working the last two kilometers that always cost me, so I must continue to work on my weaknesses. At the end we all enjoyed snacks, sharing together for such an excellent participation, support and organization.
