Resting Place Of Forgotten Kings #2 ~ 5 zloty 1936

Hey, welcome to the second part of the "Resting Place Of Forgotten Kings" series, today I would like to show you a coin that I bought a very long time ago and is different from the rest that I have shown before on my blog. I invite you to see it!

I mainly collect German coins, but before I decided what would be the focus of my collection, I collected everything. I'm originally from Poland, so my first idea was silver Polish coins, but those were just my numismatic beginnings and I didn't have a lot of the information I have now. When I started my adventure, I didn't buy coins from the Internet or numismatic stores, I was a bargain hunter, looking for what I could buy cheaply and well. I was young then, so money wasn't plentiful. This tactic worked, and I collected a few non-silver Polish coins, a few German marks, and a few Russian coins that didn't have a denomination larger than 50 kopecks. Polish numismats were nice and I liked them, I wanted to collect them and so I bought my first coin, a 1936 5 zloty coin. This numismat was the beginning as well as the end of my adventure with Polish coins.

After time, I know that the decision to collect non-Polish coins was a good one. Polish numismats are expensive, the silver from which they are made is average. Add also the fact that they are simply scarce, if we are talking about the times 200 years back. In any case, I'm glad to have something from this subject in my collection. I even set this coin as my profile picture when I started my adventure on Hive and it's still with me.

The coin is very nice. It seems minimalist in design, which is very fitting for it.

Thank you for reading this post and remember head on over!

Wersja po Polsku

Hej, witam was w drugiej części serii "Resting Place Of Forgotten Kings", dziś chciałbym wam pokazać monetę, którą kupiłem bardzo dawno temu i jest inna niż reszta, które pokazywałem wcześniej na moim blogu. Zapraszam!

Nice coin! Always collect what offers the best deal in my opinion. I wouldn't even have a clue about how to best find deals there, some of the stackers in Europe might have good ideas.

Every market is different, if I sent you European coins and you sold them in the US we would be rich 😂 Thanks for comment bro.
