Day of 2024-09-24

Yesterday started a bit slow as I slept in longer than usual, which meant postponing my usual morning sport activity to the evening. The weather was not on my side either—lots of wind, rain, and it is definitely starting to feel colder. I felt sluggish throughout the day because of the gloomy weather.

On a more positive note, I finally sold off some $COLONY with a decent gain, which felt satisfying after watching the market for a while. Now, I am debating whether to buy back or move the funds into something else. $LEO is looking really attractive right now at just 0.146 $HIVE, making it tempting to stock up while it is cheap. It is also interesting to note that for the first time in a long while, $LTC did not dominate my trading volume.

I went for a run in the evening, despite a quick shower that briefly soaked me. The fresh air after the rain actually made the run more refreshing. Afterward, I took my dog for a walk, but unfortunately, I can not take him running with me because he is too slow and loves to stop and sniff everything. The walk was a nice way to unwind after the run, and we both enjoyed the cool evening air.

Stress hyperglycemia

High blood sugar, also known as hyperglycemia, is a condition where the level of sugar in the blood exceeds the normal limits. This persistent state is characteristic of diabetes mellitus, a condition associated with insulin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels within the normal range.

Occasionally, individuals who do not have diabetes may experience temporary hyperglycemia, often due to stress. When a person is under stress, their body responds in various ways, including releasing stress hormones such as cortisol, growth hormone, and catecholamines. These hormones counteract the effects of insulin, leading to elevated blood sugar levels to provide energy. If blood sugar is measured during a stressful event, it may be higher than normal, a condition known as stress hyperglycemia. Once the stress subsides, blood sugar levels typically return to normal.

I want to share something I've been excited about lately. It's called LiveGood, and it's all about helping people improve their health, save on daily products, and even create an additional income stream if they're interested.

If you're curious, here is a quick short video that explains it. The best part is that they accept Crypto as a payment option!
