Day of 2024-09-14

Yesterday morning was cold and rainy, so instead of my bike ride, I went for a run. It wasn’t the most ideal weather, but the run was still refreshing and helped me get my energy up for the day. Running in the rain felt different, but in a good way—it gave me a sense of accomplishment.

I’m really hoping for a few more warm days ahead because my tomato plants still need some time to mature. They’re all still green, and I’ve been patiently waiting for them to ripen. The cooler weather isn’t helping much, so I’m crossing my fingers that some sunshine will come through soon. It’s been a long season of tending to these plants, and I’d hate for them to miss their chance to fully ripen.

Yesterday was drip day for several tokens, including RUG and BBH, which means there were some nice payouts. I always look forward to drip day, as it’s a reminder that the small, consistent gains add up over time.

I ended the day with a peaceful walk with the dog, which is always a nice way to wind down. The rain had stopped by then, and the evening air was crisp and cool.
