My Actifit Report Card: June 29 2023 & clean your city

Yesterday, I had my tetanus vaccine shot, which meant that participating in any sports activities was prohibited. As a result, I couldn't go for my usual morning spin on my bike. However, in the evening, I decided to take my mom's dog for a walk instead.

The vaccine shot didn't cause me any immediate problems. So, while walking my mom's dog, I took the opportunity to clean up the nearby playground and the dirt road that runs through the forest. It was disheartening to discover a lot of cigarette butts and even a rolling paper package along the dirt road. It reminded me of the importance of keeping our natural surroundings clean and free from litter.

On a more positive note, I recently ordered a new lock for my bike to "replace" this heavy feller.

The new lock is called Hiplock, and although it may not be the safest option available, it is both strong and lightweight. I didn't want to carry a 6 kg heavy lock.

The new lock allows you to secure your bike by locking the frame and one wheel or by locking one wheel to a heavy object. It's perfect for quick trips to the supermarket or any other short errands.

Having a reliable lock for my bike gives me peace of mind, knowing that I can keep it secure while I'm out and about. The convenience of the Hiplock is a great feature, making it easy for me to quickly lock up my bike and go about my day without worrying about theft.

In conclusion, even though I couldn't engage in my usual morning spin due to the vaccine shot, I made the most of the situation by walking my mom's dog and cleaning up the area around the playground and dirt road. It was disheartening to find litter along the way, but it served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining cleanliness in our natural surroundings.
After the walk the shot hit me. First my arm started to hurt and it went all later to my chest, then I knew, it was time for bed and dream of my better half and spining some wheels.
Overall, despite the temporary restriction on sports, I found ways to still enjoy the outdoors and take care of environment in my area.
