Today we were scared by storms, but it's still quite warm

We took a day off from the car today. Yesterday's 200 km on the roads of Rhodes Island took its toll on us. In addition, the stormy weather meant that we only went to Faliraki beach.

Zrobiliśmy sobie dzisiaj dzień wolny od samochodu. Wczorajsze 200 km po drogach wyspy Rodos dało się nam we znaki. Do tego burzowa pogoda spowodowala, że udaliśmy się jedynie na plażę Faliraki.

We walked around the area around Faliraki today. Unfortunately, almost all the pubs, bars and restaurants are closed. The town near the beach looks like a ghost town. Of course, this has its advantages, because there are no crowds, no courts and it is peaceful and quiet.

Pochodziliśmy dzisiaj po okolicach miasteczka Faliraki. Niestety prawie wszystkie puby, bary i restauracje są pozamykane. Miasto koło plaży wygląda jak wymarłe. Ma to oczywiśie swoje plusy, bo nie ma tłoku, kortków i jest spokojnie i cicho.

Tomorrow we are going to visit the capital of the island, the city of Rhodes, and there are many interesting places there. On Friday we have planned a cruise to the island of Symi, which is beautiful. Tickets have already been bought, and I hope it will be a beautiful trip, and an intensive one at that, because we are going to walk around the island.

Jutro wybieramy się pozwiedzać stolicę wyspy, czyli miasto Rodos, a jest tam sporo ciekawych obiektów. Z kolei na piątek zaplanoaliśmy rejs na wyspę Symi, która jest przepiękna. Bilety już kupione, i mam nadzieję że to będzie piekna wycieczka, a do tego intensywna, bo mamy zmiara pospacerować o wyspie.
