Winter is back, hungry birds are back

Today, the feeding site was dominated by crows. There were 8 of them, which is unusual because such a large number rarely appear at once. I didn't have enough food to satisfy them all. They are large birds with huge appetites.

Dzisiaj na miejscu karmienia dominowały wrony. Przyleciało ich aż 8, co jest ewenementem, bo rzadko taka ilość pojawia się jednocześnie. Nie miałem wystarczającej ilości pokarmu, aby zaspokoić je wszystkie. To wielkie ptaki z ogromnym apetytem.

Even though there were a lot of crows today, they were unusually calm. Subdued, relaxed, nothing forced, no panic. I had the impression that they came more for company than for a bite to eat.

Mimo iż wron było dzisiaj dużo, zachowywały się nadzwyczaj spokojnie. Stonowane, wyluzowane, nic na siłę, bez paniki. Miałem wrażenie, że bardzie przyleciały dla towarzystwa, niż coś przekąsić.
