Another beautiful and warm September day

The forests in the area are parched to the limit. The brief rains that occurred here a few days ago barely moistened the forest floor for a few hours. It is tragically dry.

Lasy w okolicy są wysuszone do granic możliwości. Przelotne opady deszczu, które miały tu miejsce kilka dni temu ledwo zwilżyły ściółkę leśną na kilka godzin. Jest tragicznie sucho.

In the meantime, a short reconnaissance of the fields, where advanced field work is taking place. The corn has been cut to the end, now the land is being ploughed and manure is being applied, which is unfortunately a disadvantage of living in the countryside.

W międzyczasie krótki rekonesans po polach, gdzie odbywają się zaawansowane prace polowe. Kukurydza została skoszona do końca, teraz następuje oranie ziemi i nanoszenie obornika, co niestety jest minusem mieszkania na wsi.

Today's walk wasn't limited to fields or forests. I decided to explore the local ponds. Most of them were created as a result of sand extraction, but as it turns out, after heavy rainfall they also have other uses.

Dzisiejszy spacer nie ograniczył się tylko do pól, czy lasów. Postanowiłem spenetrować miejscowe stawy. Większość z nich powstała w wyniku wydobywania piasku, ale jak się okazuje, po obfitych opadach mają również inną przydatność.
