We had a partial eclipse today. This is what I was able to photograph at the height of it.

I taped a sheet of paper on the wall, used a pin to make a small hole in a piece of foil and watched the process on the paper.

We didn’t have the special glasses you need to look directly.

Nice experiment. But How could you see image through this hole.

The hole allows the sunlight (or lack of it) to come in. The image appears on the paper. Kind of like a camera lense, I suppose
