Hive and Hive Engine Power Up Day June 2022

Hey Hivers,

First of the month, of course that means it's Hive Power Up Day! And with it a good opportunity for a short update/analysis of my account. I hate to start with something disappointing, but for the first time this year I failed getting the Hive Power Up Month (PUM) badge. I started well as usual, but when flying back home mid-month, I think I got played by the time difference, and missed one day. This is a tough challenge, and I will go after it again this month. No traveling in the plans, so it should be easier to successfully complete it.

HIVE

But for Hive Power Up Month (HPUD), this was a classic with 10.666HP powered up. I didn't have much liquid Hive, so just the minimum once again was an obvious choice.

Also a classic now, I pushed a tiny amount of HBD to my savings, to enjoy the 20% APR. However, I couldn't claim my interest yet, I will do that tomorrow. We're only talking of a few bucks for now anyways, but I'd like to increase that amount steadily.

Talking about steady, that's what the account growth was once again. Starting at 2343HP, I added about 75HP to finish around 2418HP. It was very slightly bumpier than last month, but well above my 2HP daily target.

And finally, accounting for today Power Up, this is a total of 2429HP. Looking at the chart below, the growth seems even steadier than I thought. That's what I like to see. But with increased curation (from more HP of course), and some small other changes I made recently, I am hoping this will start to accelerate.

SPORTS

The last couple of months, I wondered about what to do for SPORTS tokens. I went past 8M some time ago, but kept seeing the dollar value go lower and lower. At some point, I thought I would only keep the automatically staked tokens, and convert the rest to other Hive Engine tokens, or Hive. But in the end, I decided for now to stick to my original strategy of staking everything! It is a slightly slower month though, with only about 370k added for a total now around 8.26M. The question still remains open, should I change my strategy? Probably not this month, but I will keep thinking about it.

DUNK

This one is getting even trickier. Since I only have one main account and no alt account, and vote coefficient doesn't seem to work for this tribe, I used to rely on @dunkcurator to get nice returns on my delegated DUNK tokens. Unfortunately, this is not available anymore. So, the growth is very significantly slowed down, and I am worried that after the NBA season ends, it will get even worse. Anyways, that's just under 4k added this month to reach a total around 82.5k.
I will need to figure out what to do with my stake. I saw some possibilities to get returns from delegation, but none of them were in native tokens, which is what I would prefer.

ALIVE

Like mentioned a few times, I really like this We Are Alive Tribe, along with its #AliveAndThriving project. Great community, still evolving with again a couple major changes/developments this month. I am also staking as much as I can for now. Over 700AP added this month to reach a total around 2500 ALIVE. Just like last month, the growth is slightly faster than expected. Always good news! You can also see the large delegation, it comes from the various contests associated with this tribe. Great way to get better curation, and reward more people from the tribe. I guess time for a monthly chart has come, I will try and add one from next month.

Targets

• 2HP daily increase for Hive Power still seems like a good target. Challenging but reachable. Since I will soon move back to a 100% Powered Up post every day (for PUM of course), this should be doable.
• Like I repeated many times, not too sure about SPORTS anymore, but for now, let's say I will keep staking and target is around 450 to 500k per month. This is for sure challenging but we'll see.
• I should get a decent chunk of DUNK at the end of the NBA season, as reward from all the prediction contests. But after that, like explained above, the growth might get stalled. So, no real target there, except I would like to reach the symbolic 100k milestone.
• Still targeting 150AP weekly increase for my ALIVE Power. I think this is getting a bit more challenging now, but I will keep it for now.
• Finally, I started slowly adding some drip tokens (DHEDGE, UTOPIS especially). Just a few for now, but I will see if I can increase that. Possibly BRO as well, as I've seen somewhere the dividends will switch to HIVE soon.
