My Actifit Report Card: January 22 2025

Hey Actifitters,

I knew it would warm up yesterday but I didn't know we'd get a couple more inches of fresh new snow. With the temperature in the low 20s F (around -5C), and a little bit of blue sky, it was great.

Kaia was very excited about it!

Le Chat not so much, but she decided to go out just around the time we were leaving for our daily walk, so she had to stay outside for a while.

Of course, we started our walk behind the front yard again.

Kaia was ready to explore there like we did the past 3 days when it was really cold.

But I quickly called her back, because with the mild temperature I had an other idea. That was also another opportunity for a little jumping.

Of course the other idea was to go to the real forest. Like I said, we skipped the last 3 days because of the extreme cold, but we missed it.

I always find it odd to find trees with all their leaves in the middle of winter. It's just a few here and there in the forest.

Kaia's not so interested with the trees but always on the lookout for critters.

And she did chase a few ones. In the snow, she actually has a chance to catch some of them, luckily she didn't.

And in the end, when it gets dark, she leads us out of the forest.

Even when it's fully dark in the neighborhood, with the snow, it stays quite bright for our last loops around.

With a nice weather, it was cool to go to the forest again. And of course, that greatly helped my step count, more than enough to pass the bar in #poprzeczka competition. Hopefully we can stay in the race at least until after the week end.
