My Actifit Report Card: August 2 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was still a bit slow at work because my internet was still down. At least I managed to work a bit using the wifi Hotspot on my company phone. I was glad to see the technician arrive in the afternoon. He confirmed the problem: the line was completely cut. It took him almost a couple hours to reinstall an entirely new line outside. And it worked, yay!! Finally, all problems in the storm aftermath are fixed, and we're back to normal! After catching up a bit for work and online stuff, we started a long walk with Kaia. We started in the forest as often, where these two deer were waiting for us.

I wanted to check how the clean up in the forest is going. It's progressing pretty fast.

This area used to be full of trees!

Kaia, as the curious dog that she is, wanted to check it closer.

But she was a bit worried about these big machines.

Lots of work done further in the forest too.

Just before leaving the forest through a different exit, we stopped for a quick photoshoot. But Kaia was under attack by mosquitoes (I was too of course), swatting them away. It took quite a few shots to get a good one!

I thought we would not be able to catch the sunset from this side of the forest but the view was actually great.

Just a couple minutes further West and the view was even better!

We also took a different route to get back home. I forgot about this small park. It's pretty nice too.
