My Actifit Report Card: July 17 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was pretty busy because I had to cram all daily activities in between long meetings and a visit to the vet for Kaia. She was very nervous, but the news were pretty good. It's probably not too bad, just a bad case of skin infection, and it should be treatable. We'll see in a few days if she gets better with the meds.
Like I said, I had plenty of meetings on the schedule for the day, and no break long enough for a real walk with Kaia during the day. So we had several obedience and play sessions in the yard instead.
Of course Le Chat was jealous and wanted to join the party!
I also tried group photos, but Le Chat wasn't in the mood for that apparently.
And Kaia was like 'Nooooo, that damn cat is ruining everything!'
Finally it was time for our walk of the day, just before dusk again. We met this deer on the way. I was both glad and upset of the way Kaia reacted. She completely broke her on-leash training by pulling really hard, but that also meant she had most her energy back. That's improvement compared to previous days.
And finally, our forest!
And some off-leash time for Kaia of course.

Language academies can say all they want about the validity, or lack thereof, of a word, but it's the people that use it every day, so I say they get priority in being able to define meaning. Thanks! Yeah, she should be fine, the location of the infection is hard to monitor, but she seems more comfortable already. I guess that's a good sign.
Yeah, even if it ends up being very late in the day sometimes, the daily walk with Kaia is always a must whatever else goes on!
