My Actifit Report Card: June 8 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was once again similar. I was too tired in the morning to get up earlier for a morning walk. And with the milder temperature, I knew we could go for a long walk in the evening anyways. That's exactly what we did with Kaia. Just before we arrived near the forest entrance, we met another deer. Peekaboo!

But we didn't stay, as I wanted to take off Kaia's leash as soon as possible.

She quickly forgot about the deer, and looked for other critters to chase.

She did find this poor bird and luckily didn't try and hurt it. It seemed as it was already injured, it clearly couldn't fly, in spite of moving frantically its wings. I really wasn't sure what to do, and in the end just left it (I checked there today, and didn't see it, so hopefully it was able to recover somehow).

I didn't think we could see much of a sunset, but just in case we left the forest. It was too late for our usual viewpoints near the golf, but this new one I found recently was okay.

Finally on our way back, we saw more deer. That little one was apparently exhausted because it just laid there, while its mom left. I'm sure she went back to get it as soon as we were far enough though.

And that was it, not too bad for a routine work day.
