My Actifit Report Card: April 15 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday I had to get up very early, which is very unusual for me. Even the deer were surprised as they were chilling in the front yard when I woke up. They fled as soon as they heard some movement.

I was recently talking about never catching sunrise. Well, this time I did. Unfortunately I was running late as always, so I only could enjoy it from the car.

The reason for getting up so early was a 10k I signed up for a few weeks ago. With no training at all, that was a tough race! More details will follow later in Exhaust. When I came back home after the race, Kaia wanted to go for a walk right away, but I negotiated for just some play time in the yard.

Later in the day however, we went for a long walk because she needed some real exercise, and I also needed more steps for #Macfit and #poprzecka (too bad I never run with my phone, because my step count would have been much better). We tried to catch the sunset first.

That big cloud was in the way though.

We then rushed (well not that fast, as my legs were quite tired from the morning run!) to the forest.

Kaia finally had some off-leash time to enjoy.

And that was it, quite the active day, in spite of the time I took resting after the morning run.
