Winter Tripping. My Actifit Report Card: December 23 2024

The usual holiday season shift of space below us. Getting back to the capital for a rest, the dynamic kind with lots of people, shopping, modern stuff.

The mountain pass and its snow surprised the unprepared. Again. Trucks in Eastern Europe and beyond, not always well equipped for slippery roads. Thus, the drama. We were stuck for a lengthy while because of those in front of us. When the path was clear of them, we were fine. Our car is of the lowest engine power, but it's still relatively new. The tires were the best I could find a year ago, and that was enough in the case.

With some luck, for a couple of major factors were not under our control at all, we were through.

The city hikes begin.
