You cannot be ever present, and things go on inexorably in your absence. The time to thyme may be now but the time to basil will soon be over, the time to prune is past and was not utilized as well as it could have been.
New kinds of grass are... everywhere. The garden knows what it does. I do not. I shall observe and experiment, though. It's all a game, anyway.
Funny foe me to think that my planting efforts are significant in any way but feeling happy about my contact with it all.
