We talked about snow yesterday ❄️
The lack of. Yesterday. Here, where we live, no snow stayed despite the faint attempt at falling in earnest.
So I thought...Saturday was coming and the closest snow would be in the mountain pass an hour of driving from home. We could go see it.
But what if weather was bad as expected, meaning still wet and cold...and cloudy...
What if we were over the pass already? Well, there would be our old capital town not far from that point.
And it has that cool art gallery that would be of great interest to my wife, so...
We should just drive half of the morning, walk around for a few hours, visit a few spots,
buy a couple of handmade knives, a painting, or something, fetch a lunch, drive back, call it a road trip day.
Done and done.
If you take a close look at the last one, you can see the snow ❄️ still falling there. It's another Bulgaria there, as we say.
Yeah, grey and cloudy but we used it anyway, this Saturday. We made it quite different than the normal.
If only for a few hours...
And we did get a painting. Directly from the white-haired artist himself.

Oh, I took some photos with the big gun, too. But that is a story better told next time.
