Sri Lanka women's cricket team captain Samari Atapattu decided to bat first after winning the toss. They could not stand in front of the Pakistani bowlers after batting first. The Sri Lankan women's cricket team was bowled out for 169 in 47.5 overs.

Kavisa Dilhari remained unbeaten on 49 off 50 balls, the highest among the Sri Lankan women's batsmen, followed by PM Yerrakkodi (30 off 44 balls), Atapattu (25 off 39 balls), Nilakshi de Silva (16 off 46 balls), Hansima Karunaratne (12 off 40 balls) and Ranaweira (10 off 27 balls). Collected runs, 17 runs come from extras.

Among the bowlers of the Pakistan women's cricket team, Ghulam Fatema took 4 for 21 off 10 overs, Sadia Iqbal took 2 for 10 off 30 overs, and Fatema Sana took 2 for 24 off 7.5 overs.
