The final match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 was held yesterday, in which Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals faced each other, in this match Gujarat Titans won by 7 wickets and became the champions of this year's IPL.

This is the first time Gujarat Titans have come to play in the IPL, they have won the final match due to the extraordinary captaincy of Hardik Pandey who came to play in the first IPL. This year's IPL was a great tournament for the Gujarat Titans.

Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson decided to bat first after winning the toss in the final match. Rajasthan Royals scored 130 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Joss Butler top-scored for Rajasthan Royals with 39 off 35 balls, followed by Yassavi Jaiswal (22 off 16 balls), Ryan Parag (15 off 15 balls), Sanju Samson (14 off 11 balls), Trend Bolt (11 off 7 balls) and Simron Hetmar (11 off 12 balls). Collected runs, 2 runs come from extra.

Among the bowlers of Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandey bowled 4 overs and took 4 wickets for 17 runs, Sai Kishore took 2 wickets for 20 runs for 2 overs, Rashid Khan took 4 wickets for 18 overs 1 wicket, Yas Dial 3 overs 18 runs for 1 wicket and Mohammad Sami 4 wickets. Over took 1 wicket for 33 runs.

Playing on a target of 131 runs, Gujarat Titans reached the target by losing 3 wickets in 18.1 overs, as a result they won by 7 wickets.

Among the Gujarat Titans batsmen, Subman Gill top-scored with 45 off 43 balls, followed by Hardik Pandey with 34 off 30 balls, and David Miller with 32 off 19 balls.

Among the bowlers of Rajasthan Royals, Trent Bolt took 1 wicket for 14 runs off 4 overs, Yuzvendru Chahal took 1 wicket for 20 runs in 4 overs, and Prashid Krishna took 1 wicket for 40 runs off 4 overs.

Hardik Pandey won the Man of the Match award, and Jos Butler won the Man of the Series award.
