Gary Neville : The United Legend
Even though he wasn't technically God gifted in abilities, no superior strength or height, he established himself as one of the best fullbacks of his generation with his perseverance, aggressive mentality, professionalism, determination and dedication. He has proved to be one of the best fullbacks of the generation with his authoritative presence on the field, defensive approach, game reading ability, positioning sense, work rate and leadership qualities.

I was talking about Gary Neville, the former right back of England and Manchester United. Gary Alexander Neville was born in 1975 in the town of Beauri, just eleven kilometers from the Theater of Dreams. His father was an English league cricketer. His mother played in the local hockey and netball leagues. Neville's father was a staunch United fan. So at an early age Gary became a fan of Manchester United. At just four years old, he went to Old Trafford to watch the Red Devils play with his father. He spent most of his childhood with his younger brother Phil Neville. He joined Manchester United Academy in 1986 at the age of 11 through a trial. That's where the youth career of Gary Neville started with Scholes, Giggs, Beckham. Neville made his UEFA Cup debut against Deportivo Moscow in September 1992 as a member of the famous 'Class of 92' under Sir Alex Ferguson. The 1994-95 season saw Manchester United's regular right-back Paul Parker sidelined for the entire season due to injury, and as a result Gary was named Manchester United's first-choice right-back.
The following year, he made his debut for the English national team in a friendly match against Japan. Gary scored the first goal of his senior career in 1997. He then went on to score a total of seven goals in his long career. Gary was appointed captain of the Red Devils in November 2005 after Roy Keane left the club. In 2006, he won his first title, the League Cup, as a team captain. Manchester United won three Premier League titles, two League Cups and a Champions League trophy under his captaincy in the six years leading up to his retirement from the club. Neville was seriously injured in the 2007 Bolton Wanderers match. After a long injury, he returned in January of the following year, but was unable to settle down. He played for the national team for the last time in 2007. He played 85 matches for England in his 12-year international career. Although he missed the 2002 World Cup due to injury, he represented England in two World Cups in 1998 and 2006.
He announced his retirement from Manchester United at the end of the season in February 2011. In his 20 year club career, Gary Neville has won a total of 20 trophies, including nine Premier League titles, playing the fifth highest 602 matches. Even after retirement, Neville was engaged with football. He joined the England national team under Roy Hodgson in 2012 as an assistant coach. Neville held that position until the 2014 World Cup. Gary Neville took over spanish club Valencia as manager in December 2015. But there was no success. Neville did not have much success as a coach in other words.
Gary Neville as a player is a Red Devil Legend. He has spent his entire club career with the Red Devils. In his long career of 20 years, he has made countless contributions and great achievements at Manchester United. For which, they remain grateful.
