MAcFiT Olympics: Day 5 - Decathlon

Hello,

This is a special update on Decathlon.

Only few players have provided their scores for Saturday and Sunday and only two of them showed improvement. Therefore, due to a low turnout, I am cancelling the event.

@asia-pl, @awah, @davidthompson57, @erikklok, @itz.inno, @manuvert
@merthin, @racibo, @trezzahn did care to reply, therefore they will be rewarded with ranking points.

The event had been designed for @actifit 'ters with low daily step counts. They normally cannot win anything in @macfit, @poliac nor @poprzeczka, so here was their chance. I thought it would be a good alternative to the other Olympic events, which in different forms are based on "most steps win" rule.

Perhaps we return to this competition later. Any thoughts about the format and organization of the event?

this was a bit difficult to juggle with the other event for my case.
i had to have more steps for the other events, making it harder to surpass in the succeeding days.
i appreciate the effort of organizing events, though

I will keep you in the loop for the future.
I think I will come back to the idea. But it only makes sense if there's interest and people willing to take part in the competition.

Thank you for being active in the various Olympics events. People like you make it worthwhile.
